‘Tis the season to wrap some presents. I love getting creative and changing it up year to year, so when a group of ladies decided to share our ideas together – I couldn’t resist. This blog roundup is my favorite by far, with lots of fun ideas, no gifts should go unnoticed under your tree this year.
Wrapping presents is a love/hate relationship. I absolutely love it, but my husband is the opposite, and would pay someone to do it. I think it’s more painful if you don’t enjoy it. This year I’m not sure what theme I’m going with, but I did decide to do a few presents in one of my favorite themes I’ve done in the past.
With a little creativity and Kraft paper, it doesn’t take much to make your presents look beautiful. I’ve taken some baker’s twine, heavy cord, ribbons, hemp string, washi-tape and fun name tags to make this project super easy. Really, just start collecting items in a color of choice and go with it. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I added some extra fun touches by stamping on a few sayings, but calligraphy and hand written messages would be just as cute. Just go with how you feel.
For some more ideas, I’m also sharing what some ladies on other great blogs are doing. Here’s a great little round-up I know you’ll love. Be sure to comment below with any you love or other great ideas you’ve done in the past. I mean ‘Tis the season for sharing some fun ideas and we’d love to hear all about them.
Easy Gift Wrapping Ideas Anyone Can Do
I’m so excited to share some really fun ideas for your holiday gift giving this year. Starting with this adorable gift basket from Victoria at The Home Envy. I mean, isn’t this the cutest idea you’ve ever seen?
I loved opening up my inbox to see everyone’s ideas, ,including this one from Dori at This Full Life 5 – isn’t that the cutest wreath ever? These adorable presents would even mix perfectly with the Kraft ones I created above. I love mixing and matching ideas, as long as the main colors stay the same. It creates so much interest and turns presents into decor instantly.
The key to some great gift wrapping is to just put a little fun and personality into what you’re making. It’s a craft in itself, and Dani from The Taborhood has definitely done so, with her very own water colored bag! I mean, this is beyond anything I could’ve imagined doing.
All this color, I was so excited to see this black, white and kraft theme from Cate at West Magnolia Charm. I’m loving those cute little chalk tags she has added as well. Everything compliments itself so well.
This next one is another favorite. I definitely don’t feel as crafty as Jerri at the Farmhouse Fun Blog, I mean she made the perfect little wreath out of fresh greenery and cinnamon sticks. I wonder how amazing these presents must smell? I don’t know, but they are certainly adorable.
More greenery and kraft paper, and an absolutely adorable lit up tree from Shae at Sweet Southern Grace. Her presents are too cute under that tree. And that music paper… I’m loving how kraft paper is so versatile.
Lastly, and definitely just as adorable as the others, these gifts from Terrie at Decorate and More with Tip, look so elegant. My daughter would adore the pinks and golds she has used, as they look so beautiful. I love her big bows made of ribbon, I would definitely love to learn how to make my own fancy ribbon bows someday too.
That’s the end of the tour. I really hope you enjoyed taking a peek at everyone else’s wrapping style, like I did. It was so much fun seeing the different ideas. All of the ladies did such an amazing job, I would love to see the rest of their Christmas decor too. Be sure to pop by and visit everyone – let them know how much you’re loving their wrapping idea. 🖤
